How we’re leaving it vs how we found it 🫣

We took this tiny “bedroom” (I think it was all of 9’x7’), the hall bathroom, the “main bedroom” and the hall and combined it all into one functional primary suite in this Lawrenceville rowhouse, ending up with this beautiful ensuite bathroom, a walk-through closet, and large bedroom with a Juliette balcony 👌

An unstaged walkthrough of a recently completed project. And honestly, it’s my favorite way to see a home. The bones we BUILT.

Every detail in this one was intentional. The wallpaper, the tile, the cabinet finishes. Nothing was chosen in isolation, everything in conversation with each other.

The detail I’m most proud of here is the glass pane wing walls I suggested adding to the sitting room off the kitchen. That space needed to feel like a destination, not a passageway. And because of where it sits in the floorplan — visible from the foyer, the main hall, the kitchen, and the family room — getting it right mattered. It ended up being the thread that ties the whole main level together.

This is what full-service design-build looks like from the inside. Everything is considered and contemplated, including the way you live, the way you move through your space.

As a multigenerational farm house, it had already held so much life. We just made sure it was ready to hold more 🤍

The ✨ magic ✨ of new construction never gets old !!!

This might be a hot take, but .. I think super realistic renderings can be very beneficial to the project, but I’m a strong believer in still doing things manually. Touch and feel real samples! Do not take THIS moment away from yourself— when you finally get to see all of the finishes you spent a year working on unfold before your eyes. I believe in the power and importance of the imagination, let’s still lean on actual creativity to create beautiful spaces 👏
